Headaches In Children

Chiropractic Care Can Reduce Recurring Headaches In Adults And Children!

Everyone knows what a headache feels like, and those fortunate to have tried chiropractic know what it feels like when one goes away after an adjustment!

But sadly nowadays, many children are also getting headaches.

We know one major reason adults are getting headaches en masse is from sitting in front of a computer all day at work.

Children are now logging screen time rivaling that of their parents, if not more when you factor in the fact most kids use screens for recreation after school, whereas many adults take a break when they are done with work.

It is illustrated here with a statement from the CDC:

“According to the Kaiser Family FoundationExternal, kids ages 8-18 now spend, on average, a whopping 7.5 hours in front of a screen for entertainment each day, 4.5 of which are spent watching TV. Over a year, that adds up to 114 full days watching a screen for fun. That’s just the time they spend in front of a screen for entertainment. It doesn’t include the time they spend on the computer at school for educational purposes or at home for homework.”

This is very bad news because throughout adolescence, our spines are developing up to the age of 25.

Maintaining proper spinal alignment/curvature is essential to proper central nervous system function in adulthood.

Just as braces are used on teeth for children, so too should they receive regular chiropractic spinal exams and adjustments.

We know most headaches originate from the neck and that ADULTS AND CHILDREN alike are in dire need of chiropractic care in this age of perpetual screen-time.

Chiropractic for many is a headache eraser, get your family adjusted and have peace of mind!
